In the morning program we have been creating art projects centered around colors, and next week we will be creating art with shapes. The children are enjoying their mornings as they are busy with getting to know us and making friends. In the Pre-K there has been curriculum centered around getting to know who our families are and where we all live. Miss Diana had the children recreate their house in several art projects. Miss Danielle introduced numbers this week by having the children shape homemade cookie dough into numbers. What a great way to introduce a concept and yummy too:) p.s. no eggs were used in the dough:)

We are off to a great start at La Canada Preschool. Please remember that Monday and Tuesday are Show and Tell Days in the morning program, and Monday and Wednesday are Show and Tell Days in the Pre-K. The children are getting along wonderfully.We still have a few openings T-Th morning. if you are interested you can add into this program, just let us know. We are busy creating art for our Open House which will be held Saturday October 17 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Please bring family and friends to see what your child has been doing at school and meet all our families.
